Madeline Tien is a food and sustainability professional, passionate about how food connects us to people, place, and planet. Early in her career, she worked in restaurants and small food businesses, including a CSA farm, where she began to understand the links between soil, health, and our food system. This, and her belief in the power of business to effect change, led her to earn her MBA in Sustainable Solutions at Presidio Graduate School. Since January 2024, Madeline has worked as a Sustainability Specialist at Once Upon a Farm, focusing on sustainability data, ESG reporting, packaging and EPR, communications, strategy, and more. She lives in Portland, OR, with her fiancé, dog, and cat.
