Gabriel currently serves as the Director- Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) at Diageo North America.
A seasoned executive leader, Gabriel possesses extensive global expertise in trade, public policy, ESG, and strategic communications. He has held executive and senior leadership roles across diverse regions, including Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America. Educated at Kwame Nkrumah University and the University of Leicester, he has enriched his knowledge with executive education from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and Oxford University. An ardent traveler, Gabriel has explored more than 70 countries spanning six continents.

In his former role as Diageo's Head of Society for the Africa Region, Gabriel played a crucial role in shaping Diageo Africa's sustainability strategy. He co-led the formation of the Africa Plastics Recycling Alliance in collaboration with Unilever, Coca-Cola, and other FMCG MNCs. Gabriel spearheaded the first-year delivery of Diageo 2030 targets in Africa, providing 385,000 m3 of water to 55,000 people and reaching 74,000 people through the SMASHED underage drinking campaign. Moreover, he ensured that 55% of community program beneficiaries were women.

Before assuming the Africa regional role, Gabriel served as the Corporate Relations Director at Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc (GGBPLC), a Diageo Plc subsidiary. Here, he strategically positioned the company's communications and sustainability agenda, earning recognition as a leading, trusted, and respected consumer brands company in Ghana. His efforts garnered numerous awards, and he was named CSR Practioner of the Year at the 2018 Ghana CSR Excellence Awards. Internally, Gabriel received recognition as Diageo Global Corporate Relations Best Talent.

Gabriel joined Diageo in 2016 from Unilever, where he held the position of Corporate Affairs Director for Ghana. His previous experiences include over six years with Mohinani Group and K-Net Group in Ghana, where he led corporate affairs, projects, and customer relations.

Gabriel holds a BSc in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), a Master's in International Relations from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, an Executive Education Certificate in Shared Value Strategy from Harvard Business School in the United States of America, and an Executive Education Certificate in Leading Sustainable Business from Oxford University, England.
