Gabriel is a seasoned leader with extensive global expertise in trade, public policy, and ESG. His career spans leadership roles in Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America, leveraging education from Kwame Nkrumah University and the University of Leicester, with advanced studies at Harvard Business School and Oxford University. An avid traveler, he has visited over 70 countries.

In his current role at Diageo North America, Gabriel leads ESG initiatives, focusing on sustainable growth and corporate responsibility. Previously, he significantly contributed to Diageo's strategic and operational success in Southeast Asia, handling Public Policy and Relations, and Employee Engagement. Under his leadership, the region saw marked improvements in market performance and employee involvement.

Prior to this, as Diageo's Head of Society for Africa, Gabriel was instrumental in forming the Africa Plastics Recycling Alliance and achieving key Diageo 2030 sustainability targets. His initiatives provided substantial community benefits, including significant water provisions and support against underage drinking. His tenure at Guinness Ghana Breweries as Corporate Relations Director was marked by strategic repositioning of the brand, earning him the CSR Practitioner of the Year at the 2018 Ghana CSR Excellence Awards.

Before Diageo, Gabriel served as Corporate Affairs Director at Unilever Ghana, after roles in corporate affairs and customer relations with Mohinani Group and K-Net Group in Ghana. He holds a BSc in Land Economy, a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations, a Master’s in International Relations, and executive certificates in Shared Value Strategy and Leading Sustainable Business.
