While recycling plastic bottles is widely recognized, polyethylene film - which accounts for 30% of the plastics market - often goes unnoticed. In this session, you will learn about new innovations in sustainable films, including a 100% recycled film that was developed over the last decade and is created through a closed loop system by collecting, sorting and cleaning film waste, then transforming it into high-quality, clear plastic film. This process recycles 3,000 tons of printed waste annually, and cuts 6,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
